Lazar Angelov nació en Sofía, Bulgaria, el 22 de septiembre de 1984. Apasionado por el baloncesto y el culturismo, comenzó a jugar al baloncesto a una edad muy temprana. A la edad de 18 Lazar Angelov se unió al ejército y durante este tiempo perdió su físico cincelado. Lazar estaba ansioso por recuperar su físico anterior y es por eso que después de dejar el ejército decidió ser un entrenador profesional. Lazar Angelov obtuvo un certificado de entrenador personal de la Academia Nacional de Deportes y comenzó a trabajar con personas, ayudándolas a lograr y mantener un gran cuerpo.
